The Samyang 24mm T1.5 ED AS IF UMC VDSLR Lens Canon Fit is a wide-angle, fast aperture lens created for professional photographers and videographers. The lens features follow focus gearing and decoupled (de-clicked) apertures, which makes the lens suitable for video work. Samyang 24mm T1.5 lens has the focus distance and aperture settings clearly marked on the side of the lens barrel to allow quick and easy reference when mounted on a tripod. The 24mm T1.5 lens is suitable for full-frame and cropped sensor cameras and is equipped with 13 elements in 12 groups and an 84 degrees field of view. The stated aperture of T1.5 refers to the actual light transmission of the lens and is particularly important in the film industry where light readings are normally made manually. UMC stands for Ultra Multi Coated, which indicates that the lens has been covered with multi-layered, anti-reflective coating which minimises reflections and increases image contrast. This lens is a manual focus lens and does not have AF.
