The Kenro Karoo Travel Tripod Kit 102 is manufactured from high quality magnesium aluminium which makes it lightweight but sturdy, supporting camera set-up that weigh up to 11kg. It has been designed to be compact for transport with the tripod legs folding in 180 degrees and it is quick and easy to set-up as well.
The tripod is supplied with twist lock legs making height adjustments quick and straightforward and you can even remove one of the tripod legs to use it as a Monopod. Simply remove the leg, attach it to the centre column and you then have a fully functional Monopod with ball head on top. The legs also have 3 stop adjustable leg angle positions for low level photography. Both standard and short centre columns are supplied with the kit, enabling very low level photography. The centre column will also reverse for low level photography. There is a hook on the bottom of the column for the user to hang weights from the tripod’s centre of gravity in order to increase stability.
The ball head on top of the tripod has a quick release camera plate (Arca Swiss Style) and built in spirit level. At the bottom of the system you have the option of the supplied rubber / spiked feet for working indoors or outside on rough terrain. The tripod is supplied in a quality carry case with hand and shoulder straps.
